The 1966 501 Rigid is a straight tapered fit jean made from an unsanforized 12 oz. selvedge denim from Cone Mills. Based off the 501 model in 1966, the fit is a high rise waist that was slimmer in the leg and tapered slightly from the knee and shrinks one size with an initial wash/soak.. The 1966 501 Rigid features a 'Big E' red tab, copper rivets, hidden back pocket rivets, double stitch back arcuates with diamond, paper patch, and zinc buttons.
