The 1978 501 Rigid is a slim fit jean made from an unsanforized 12 oz. selvedge denim. Based off the 501 model in 1978, the fit is a lower rise waist that is straight through the leg. The 1978 501 Rigid features an red 'small E' red tab, copper rivets, paper patch, bar tacked back pockets, and slight leg twist.
