The only thing more mysterious than Oni Denim might be it's founder, Masao Oishi-san, who has refused countless interviews to instead focus on the denim itself. "Oni" means "devil" in Japanese, and this devil is in the details, consistently producing amazing low-tension denim fabrics with meticulous hardware and incredible quality.
Oishi maintains Oni as a hobby and only produces jeans when the mood strikes him, so be sure to grab some while they're still around.
