As the undisputed leading crafter of slubby, coarse denim, almost all of Pure Blue Japan‘s denim is woven on the same single shuttle loom machine, that is interestingly manipulated to create this unique and uneven weave. The XX-005BK is one product of their famous shuttle loom that is identical to their most popular model, the XX-005, with the exception of its black color. While the weft yarn threads are white and left undyed, the warp threads are dyed black prior to weaving; leading to the deep black tone. They will fade just as a normal pair of indigo jeans would.
